Miss Step

I have gotten a few Malifaux commissions lately. I really enjoy painting them. The color schemes are always simple yet striking.

Miss Step is the female version of Howard Langston, who was a nightmare to put together when he was a metal model. You may remember him as the Steampunk Abomination.

She is on a Secret weapon sewer base.

My only complaint with this model is that she is balancing on three of those spider legs, which don't allow much glue surface.

The greenish metal body began with a basecoat of wolf grey, followed by a layer of Shining Silver. I washed it with Coelia Greenshade, and then highlighted it with Shining Silver again. It produced an effect very similar to the box art.
